It's my first blog post ever!!

Allow me to introduce myself.

My full name is Audrey Littie Doris Ritchie. I am adopted. 

I am Puerto Rican, Mexican, and Black. 

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and live in Germany now! 

Now that we have gotten that out of the way let me tell you a lil bit about my modelling journey.

I got signed to my first agency in 2012. I thought my life was gonna change!! ...Well it didn’t. It was then that I realised this modelling world is not going to be easy. Two years later I got signed to a very popular Los Angeles agency, they seemed so amazing until I really saw them for who they were. I knew I was better than just being a filler girl on a board of beautiful women. I wanted to work and kill the game. Fast forward 9 months later I signed with Hughes London, which is now IMM Curve, and I slowly realised my worth. They got me my first actual job with a huge Canadian department store, anddddd I bombed it haha. I had no idea what I was doing. It was a mess. I was embarrassed. But it gave me the confidence boost I needed! Clients like them actually want me! 

I’ve been modeling full-time for two and a half years now. It’s a work in progress every day let me tell you. Social media, aka Instagram, honestly weighed me down constantly comparing myself to other models and brands and feeling like I’m not doing good enough. It’s not fair for people to feel that way in a world where we’re all trying to figure out ourselves. I just recently unfollowed EVERYONE I know or met or wanted to work with, I even unfollowed my own fiancé lol. I highly recommend it. It feels so nice not to open Instagram aimlessly just to find myself comparing others. What is the point? I needed to remember that I am a badass woman. I’ve worked with clients like Savage X Fenty, ASOS, Pennington’s (the client I bombed lol) and so many other amazing people. It’s time to find myself and focus on ME and only ME. This is the only time it’s ok to be selfish. So I’m going to do just that.
