NOW REPRESENTING: ELLY MAYDAY

Whilst pursuing her dream of plus size modelling, she was given a shock diagnosis of ovarian cancer at age 25. However instead of retreating from public life, she chose to keep going and stay strong, baring herself for the whole world to see.

Elly says, "I wanted to show you can be beautiful when you are going through hell. You’ve just got to keep your head held high and remember, no matter how bad it gets, people have gone through even worse .You don’t know how strong you are until you are backed into a corner. I worked really hard on all my shoots because I knew I was doing something that would help others facing cancer as well. whether I made it through the year or not, those images would always last."  

One in particular shoot stood out, a lingerie campaign for Forever Yours, where she posed bald and scarred, which then went viral around the world. She has since been in the Lane Bryant #ImNoAngel campaign which caused the world to sit up and pay attention, redefining modern standards of beauty. She has also been filming for the documentary 'A Perfect 14', due out this year.
